Fire Ratings
UL Class A is the highest fire resistance rating that you’ll see in building products. It indicates the fire spread index. Look for Class A products for the highest level of fire protection.

- Class B or II: Flame spread Index 26 – 75
- Class C or III: Flame spread Index 76 – 200

Fiber Cement Siding

Stone Siding
Stone siding and masonry are also very fire resistant. The most important thing to check is the type of mortar being used. Be sure if mortar is require for installation that it is fire-rated.
