There’s a new Opal on the block in Naperville!
We did a complete exterior home renovation with all new roof, windows, and siding. The home has a fresh and lively new look. It protected with highly durable materials and backed by superior warranties. This exterior will continue to look great and protect the home for a very long time, all while being easy to care for.

As you can see, all the old shutters were removed. The new look is crisp, clean, and sophisticated.
Window Replacement
The new windows are Beechworth premium fiberglass windows. These windows have a classic grid pattern and an exterior frame color called Pottery Grey. Our window installers did a new construction method window replacement. This method means removing and replacing the entire window frame. New window trim work was also installed. These are beautiful windows. They are best installed by a Beechworth Elite Window Contractor like Opal for service excellence and expert installation.
Siding Replacement
For siding we used fiber cement siding, which is a durable composite that looks like wood siding. It has a sleek, modern look and is very easy to care for. Our siding contractors installed James Hardie brand plank lap siding with a 6″ exposure. This siding installation features the wood like Cedarmill texture and Monterey Taupe ColorPlus technology finish. This finish is specially formulated by James Hardie to endure the elements without fading, cracking, or peeling. It’s much more durable than a paint finish. Fiber cement is a special type of siding that requires precise installation. Opal is endorsed by James Hardie as an Elite Preferred Contractor, which ensures proper installation and excellent results!
Trim & Exterior Detail
We installed new trim throughout the exterior, using James Hardie fiber cement in the Cobble Stone color. A new porch ceiling and soffit using Mastic brand Ventura soffit, were also installed in Cobble Stone color. The gutters were replaced with 5″ seamless aluminum gutters and oversized 3″x4″ downspouts. The gutters were outfitted with Raindrop gutter guards.
Roof Replacement
2 layers of old shingles were removed and recycled. A new roof was installed using GAF Timbertex HD shingles in the popular Weathered Wood color. This new roof has a Weather Watch ice and water shield and Snow Country Ridge Vents. It’s outfitted with all new flashing, drip edge, and vents. For the ultimate protection, the homeowners also got the GAF Golden Pledge warranty, which offers 50 years of material coverage! Only roofs installed by certified GAF Master Elite contractors like Opal can get this warranty.
